Founder
Anthony (AJ) Durkton founded Live Oak in 2020, bringing years of hands-on woodworking experience and a deep commitment to thoughtful design. Originally operating as GhostTree WoodWorks, he built a reputation for precision, collaboration, and high-end custom work throughout the North Bay.
Our Story
Our Story began with a simple idea: create cabinetry and millwork that feel built-in, intentional, and truly part of the home. What started as a one-person shop has grown into a dedicated studio focused on full-service cabinetry, built-ins, and architectural woodworking. Today, Live Oak continues to blend traditional shop discipline with modern design to deliver functional, beautiful work that reflects each client’s space and style.
